Kanye West has confirmed Nicki Minaj will be featured on his upcoming project, Yandhi. In an exclusive interview with TMZ’s Raquel Harper, Ye detailed the track will tackle the important topic of body shaming. Nicki and Ye want to focus specifically on two aspects of body shaming on the record.
Kanye explained he and Nicki will explore the stigma of deeming men who sleep around as acceptable in society, while deeming women who do the same thing as unacceptable.
Kanye also dished the song will explore body shaming in relation to plastic surgery. He explained, “People get body shamed after getting plastic surgery. You hear that on the internet all the time.”
Kanye also issued a warning that what he says in this song will ruffle a few feathers. Yandhi has a release date of November 23, 2018.
Nicki will be adding this feature to her resume of collaborations specifically relating to growing internet shaming and bullying in general. Her last venture on the subject was expressed through her clothing line with the popular brand Diesel.
